Does Depression Come From A Weak Personality? - Check-in May 14th

As a part of Content Volunteer Sub Community in 7 Cups, a brief knowledge about mental health issues and what's related to it can be a benefit, including different stigma surrounding different issues.

Stigma Surrounding Depression: happen to those with weak personality.

That very dreadened feeling, which is so very different from feeling sad. Sad hurts but it’s a healthy feeling. It is a necessary thing to feel. Depression is very different.” - J.K. Rowling

J.K. Rowling had been through a lot in life. The loss of her mother who was very dear to her, poverty in life, divorced from a “quite a catastrophic marriage” as she described it, and became an unemployed single mother who raised her daughter alone and lived off welfare benefits.

Her first Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone was rejected by 12 different publishers but she didn’t give up until Bloomsbury agreed and published it.
