Highlight/s of the recent Festival Season !!!
Hello, dear friends from India,
So how did the festival season go for you this year?
We had a full blast celebration because last year we did not celebrate as we were in mourning on account of my father's demise.
We lit up our house only with earthen handmade oil lamps made by the visually disabled and candles also made by them. So we conserved electricity and also contributed to a good cause.
The other highlight was having a house full of friends and family to celebrate with us on Diwali and feast over delicious traditional food. This truly added an extra flavor and pep to our spirits because we all were missing my father so intensely.
