Here in Philippines, we have a wide range of festivals. One of them is the Panagbenga Festival or Flower Festival during Spring, such a really beautiful event. Another thing about Filipinos is that we are very hospitable and fun-loving. :)

In Canada, our big celebration day isin our summer. July 1 is "Canada Day", we celebrate Canada becoming a country. It's a big deal here, fireworks in almost every city and town. While writing this I was thinking that India has been a country for so long that it's date of becoming a country would no longer be relavent. I read on Wiki though that modern India is considered to have become a nation sometime between 1848 and 1885. So India is roughly the same age as Canada. Makes us like cousins.
