Im really confused by your statement here. What is Arak... Is it a drink? What country does it originate from? What are its ingredients.

There are some cultures that prepare special drinks and foods. This post is not unsimilar to a post in the ME group years ago.

Wishing you all peace hope and safety.

Arak is an arabian drink, calledi raki in Turkish, Ouzo in Greek and Pastis in French....

It has the characteristic that if you drop a bit of whater in it it instantly becomes milky..

Initoally it is very clear, once ypu dropwater into it it magically turns milky....

Ramadan Kareem to all celebrating!

Water is the best. I also enjoy lassi (yogurt based drink).
