Flying budget sounds great until your seat disappears or the baggage rules change mid-booking. Spirit looked like a solid deal for a quick domestic trip, but once I added a carry-on and picked a seat, the price nearly doubled. Curious if that was just my bad luck, I checked spirit airlines reviews to get a broader sense of how their pricing structure plays out.
