Does accountability look the same to all of us?

How far do you push yourself to be better? Does it involve intense shame or just guilt? As I lay my head down every night I find something to take accountability for but sometimes I go overboard and stir up self hatred instead. What’s your idea of accountability?

No, I do not think accountability is same for all. Taking accountability on everyday things, we do not need to punish ourselves just realize we could do better and try the next time we need to do something similar. What does self-punishment accomplish? reflection to be better or do better is all we can do as we cannot reverse time to redo something we may not have done the best on.
