🎀 One has to be a listener account and another a member account to chat via personal messages here. 

🎀 Members cannot directly message fellow members.

🎀 Teen account (13-17) users can only message fellow teen accounts and approved adult-teen-listeners (over 18 ones) 

🎀 If you'd like to start a conversation with someone you're not able to message directly here, as in a teen user or a fellow member~ y'all can try out these pen pal threads- https://www.7cups.com/forum/penpals/ and create a thread to chat with each other.
