I’m adding a taglist to start, but this post is open to absolutely everyone! <3
Wagashi- Wagashi is a soft, mild West African fresh cheese made from cow’s milk, commonly produced in Benin and Ghana, often by the Fulani people. It has a spongy texture similar to tofu, is frequently seasoned, and is popular deep-fried or grilled, yielding a crunchy exterior and soft interior used in stews or as a snack.

It does look like tofu <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I have to admit I've never eaten tofu but it does look like it from what I've seen
You’ve never eaten tofu??? Hehe
@jesusredeemedme2425 Nope! 😅 Have you?
@mytwistedsoul
Me neither 😁😁😁
What???? Lol
Ok, next time you make chili, use tofu instead of meat. It takes on the flavor of whatever it’s in, so it will taste like chili, but softer than meat, and healthier <3 It doesn’t taste weird. Lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 What about texture?
My mom (and the internet!) say spongy. But that’s not really it. It’s softer than that, but not like squishy? It’s more pleasant <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 Might have to give it a try! 😅
You should! Fresh tofu is really good. And with so little flavor itself, so it’s like the chameleon of foods hehe! It blends in <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 I'm not sure if I can find fresh tofu around here. I've seen it in packages but that's as fresh as it gets 😬
Maybe at a restaurant then.
Tofu in packages is fresh, that’s what I meant lol
@jesusredeemedme2425
@Amanda84 Deceptively cute! 😅
@mytwistedsoul
But not enough to change my mind to eat it 😂
@Amanda84 Ikr?! 😅 I'll try it eventually because I'm trying to try new things. It just takes me time to warm up to the idea 😂
@jesusredeemedme2425 Oh! Lol!
