We can get almost everything here. 😁 like,
Burgers & Fries: Popularized by chains like McDonald's, Johnny Rockets, and local cafes.
Pizza: Domino's and American-style pizzas are widely consumed.
Fried Chicken & Sandwiches: KFC's fried chicken and Subway's subs are common.
Hot Dogs & Mac & Cheese: Available in restaurants and sometimes at home. 😄

@jesusredeemedme2425 native american isn't a type of food. there are so many different native peoples in the US that grouping them all together cannot begin to represent us. my tribe eats a lot of salmon!
I was thinking about splitting them up, but then I realized the VAST number of tribes! Soooo many lol. So I just figured people could share what their tribe eats, or people who aren’t Native American could pick a tribe and share something from that specific culture <3

Akutaq means “mix them together” in Yup’ik which is one of the native languages spoken in Alaska. The traditional version of Akutaq is a mixture of tallow (rendered fat from arctic animals like elk, moose, whale), seal oil, cooked fish and berries. Natives developed this recipe as something they could carry with them on the hunt for nourishment and a good way to use readily available ingredients.
