I feel with you as I am addicted to social media and to compulsive messages. I think we have to bring joy to our life that will fill the holes that we think we feel with our addictions

@philosophicalBike7686 To anyone struggling — you’re not alone.

Whether you battle porn, masturbation, or any heavy habit, know this: you are worth recovery.

For those with faith — Jesus Christ sees you, loves you, and can heal you. His grace is bigger than your struggle. Prayer, scripture, repentance, and His love can give strength.

For those not spiritually inclined — there is still hope.
Recovery is possible through support groups, therapy, mindfulness, journaling, setting routines, and real connections. Slips don’t mean failure — keep going.

We are all walking this hard road together.
You are loved, needed, and capable of change. Don’t give up.

Hi! I had porn addiction untill 2 years back. I'm verry addictive person but this one I overcame succesfully by doing a few things. One of the downsides of porn addiction is over-stimulation which caused me to have problems arousing without it. Good news is that there are few different ways to overcome this, not just the one. If you ever want to talk openly about this please message me at any time and we can try together :)

Not being an expert but,

One thing you can do to slowly get rid of your "bad" habits is the "ease of access" to the things related to it.

For example last night I put my phone, laptop, earphones, etc in another room because I was addicted to them. (porn and screen addiction)

Instead I put shoes and socks at place where I could see them easily so that whenever I wake up I can't find the screens instead I find the shoes and maybe go for a walk.

Just wanna add that, the advise that I gave I still don't follow that all the time and sometimes I beat myself up for it, I still fall back to my addictions and I think having people online or in-person (preferably) who can encourage you, call out your b.u.l.l.s.h.i.t and care about you, does help a bit. Not a lot. Just a little bit. That's all I got.

I hope you slowly and surely work on yourself, I'm trying too, I hope things get better for you and anyone in a similar situation.

@philosophicalBike7686 one day at a time! find something that replaces the good feelings when you get the urge to want to.
