Calling all Languages, Countries, and Cultures!
Hello everyone, I am Bleu Phoenix, a feed member on the Around the World Community. I am delighted to share with you a new project for the #Countrycommunity feed.
To increase the amount of understanding, I would like to start a series of feeds that feature a variety of languages, countries, and cultures.

These can include quotes, facts, or tidbits about your culture and/or country. I would like to feature as many languages as possible, so please add to this thread with your ideas. For quotes, they can be from famous people, motivational, and/or deal with the topics presented on 7Cups. Please include the country, language, and an English translation below for clarity. English can be included as one of the languages! Ideas chosen with be mentioned in the feed posts and include the member/listener who suggested it. If you would like to, you can post in your own feed with the hashtag #countrycommunity along with #aroundtheworld to separate this project from some of the other feeds.
Happy learning!

@BleuPhoenix Republic of Georgia, quote ამდენი ენა ომ იცოდეთ იმდენი ხალხი ხა თ. It means, as many languages you know is as many people that you are.
@LevifromMurica Wow, I love the cultural inclusiveness of this quote since it brings together the purpose of the project. I think this one will be a fun one to experiment and create a beautiful feed post that embodies its purpose. Hopefully, we all learn a little about each language.
@LevifromMurica I am working on your quote this week and hope to either upload it to the feed if it still exists or the archive I made for the is project.
@BleuPhoenix sounds good

Omg bleuphoenix your feed posts on quotes I submitted were beautifully done! I got goosebumps NAD I actually got teary eyed especially with the Emiliano zapata quote. Thank you for capturing the essence of these two beautiful quotes that have inspired me all of my life.

Kau yang kini dilanda patah hati
Jangan sedih kamu tak sendiri
Teman sejati tidak akan pergi
Jangan takut aku ada disini
Menemanimu menemanimu

You for now stricken with broken heart
Don't be sad, you are not alone
Real friends will not go away
Don't be afraid, I am here
Accompany you accompany you
Always
@AYellowCloset This. is. inspiring. Reminding us of how we are never truly alone, I think this quote would be an enlightening feed post and hope to upload it soon to either the #countrycommunity feed if it still exists or the archive. Thank you for your contribution.
@AYellowCloset Sorry for the delay, but your quote is now a forum post in the archive.
I actually didn't know the quote was from a song until I looked up "Teman Sejati" to find out information about it. This song is amazing, it gives a nice breezy feeling with the lyrics and bop element. Thank you for your contribution.
May we use extinct languages?
Are fictional languages like Klingonian allowed?
@BleuPhoenix Afrikaans
"Elke hond kry sy dag, en elke kat sy nag".
Every dog gets its day, and every cat its night
@AeroYeen Apologies for the delay, but your quote is now a forum post. I had fun looking for images to edit for this quote, finally finding one that contributed to the message you were conveying, showing how everyone has their moments in the spotlight. I hope you like it. Thank you for your contribution.
Hey, sou uma brasileira passando por muitos problemas, me sinto sozinha e confusa só gostaria de desabafar com alguém
@BleuPhoenix
language: persian, country: iran
poet: sohrab sepehri
"seconds are naked
don't clothe them with sadness
you are not staring at the mirror, the mirror is is staring at you
you smile, mirror laughs
you sob and the mirror of world will tear it all apart
yesterday's closet is full of regrets and sad memories
the oack of tomarrow is all wishes and wishes
but today's container is empty right now
who will your heart host?? (happiness or sadness)
when sadness arrives don't open the doors of your heart"
OOPS!! SORRY IT GOT OVER LONG *-*
@Listeningsarinn
No worries, I thought it was interesting that you provided a whole poem in Persian. It offers a unique perspective on looking from within, a valuable concept for all. I loved putting it together, though it was bit difficult to align the words together while editing, but I did my best. I hope you like it, and it is currently up now in the archive
. Thank you for introducing me to a new poet, it is much appreciated.
@BleuPhoenix that most have bern hard work ~ ill check on the post, and hope you and everyone else who checks on the poet will like the poems ^^
