Culture and History
I'm taking Cultural history classes this semester, and I got to learn a lot about my society so far. As my first question: tell me what you think about middle east and Europe/usa being so vastly different in culture and more flexible? Why didn't middle eastern adopt those cultures?
Europe/USA believes more in giving everyone the freedom of speech and recognition but that's not quite pronounced in the Middle East. Change scares everyone which is why I suppose the Middle East hasn't adopted new ideas. Having said that, every chosen lifestyle has it's own pros and cons and we cannot definitely mark one as better than the other. It just depends on what works best for the people there.
