Eurovision Viewing Party TONIGHT!
Hey my lovely munchkins!
In case you weren't aware, tonight is the Eurovision Song Contest! This is a singing competition where all the countries in the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) compete with a song to win the prize, and then get to host it the following year! This year the contest is in Kyiv, Ukraine, after they won last year in Stockholm! 42 countries are in the contest this year, and 25 have qualified from the 2 semi finals on Tuesday and Thursday to the final tonight!
So, I will be hosting a viewing party in the Cultural Connection room from 8pm UK time (3pm EST, 9pm CEST) until the end of the contest! It usually lasts about 3 hours give or take, and is always a massive spectacle.
This will be on the teen side, but the adult Cultural Connection room will open too for 18+ users :)
There will be a stream of the contest on the Eurovision website (https://eurovision.tv/) and a few other outlets (I would recommend the BBC commentary!) but no matter how you're watching, you're all welcome!
