Harry Potter series
Alchemist
I am a bibliophile and reading helps me to cope with my issues. My favs would be The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird.
Descartes' Error
book by Antonio Damasio
so many..but recently, i like Harry Potter . it is so interesting.
The Alchemist
What helped my personal grwoth definitely was "note to self - connor franta".
But as something light and happy (and lgbt) I recommend "simon vs. the homo sapiens agends - becky albertalli" or "running with lions - julian winters". And a beautifully illustrated graphic novel: "heartstopper - alice oseman"
Some of my all time favorites are "the perks of being a wallflower - stephen chbosky" as well as "eliza and her monsters - francesca zappia" and "the inexplicable logic of my life - benjamin alire sáenz".
The Harry Potter series
@bluebreath1810
oooo how do the movies compare? I only ever watch them and did try to read the first book but I couldn't get into it!
Anything by the Author: Daniel Goleman.
He holds a fascinating perspective on life
@strength2seethrough
You are completely right he is amazing!
The Lord of the Rings would always remain the best of my readings...no matter how old it becomes
@fruityPicture4336
I read his mythology books manuscripts tgat his son published after his death...great dreamer was Tolkien...
@BllackCatLuna Yeah! Ofc he was a great dreamer
@fruityPicture4336
Miss him, he left, so did Mithranir and the fair elves, they all left us in darkness...
@BllackCatLuna Yup....and even Frodo....loved him a lot
@fruityPicture4336
That proves that courage and strength have no size...Frodo was very strong, smart and understanding with a great soul...
I miss his example too...he was the only one who could handle the ring...without yielding to the dark side...even Mithrandir was afraid to hold the ring...even the queen of Elves was afraid to hold the ring, yet he was the one to take the burdens of worlds on his shoulders...
Stries are gone, heroes are gone, dreamer are gone and there is darkness upon us once again...
@BllackCatLuna Frodo...no other character can replace him...most sweet and courageous, the darkness shall pass i hope
