"Dune" series and everything by Frank Herbert but not the best, all my books are the best and they are in tens of thousands..
Good Omens but i forgot the author, don't worry you'll find it. It's a cute comedy and more
Bible for sure lol
Fictional? The Book Thief Les Misérables Harry Potter Narnia
The Twisted Ones, It's honestly my favourite
The Little Prince
Hmm. I used to really like reading so i have a few.
'There's this amazing one called "A Night Divided" about a girl who's separated from her family when the Berlin Wall is put up. It was really amazing and made me realize that as morbid as it seems, I love war books! Definitely recommend.
Man's Search for Meaning ... it's one of them
The Alchemist is one of the books that is close to my heart. I go to reread that book whenever I feel down for a long period of time.
Why is that book my favorite book?
- I see myself in Santiago. I also love reading books, the thicker the better.
- Although I now understand that life is not a literal hunt for some hidden treasure (secretly still wish it was.), our lives are journeys, and we are supposed to take those journeys. And depending on the choices we make and other factors*, these journeys are different for all of us. And they are supposed to teach us the things we need.
- Not all those lessons are pleasant. Some are ugly. Some hurt us. Physically, Emotionally etc. We could be forced to give up. And sometimes, it is good to give up. Sometimes, we must power through.
- People are important. We don’t fully control how and who enters or exits our lives at any point in time. But we are supposed to learn something from the journeys that they have been on.
-
The following quotes are very close to me:
- “The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.”
- “The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them"
- “What's the world's greatest lie?" the boy asked, completely surprised. "It's this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That's the world's greatest lie.”
Thus, The Alchemist is one of the best books ever written.
*still haven’t figured things out.
I read all the time
But I would have to say that my favorite series is the cat who series.
