Am back in India decades ago but still having lasting, memorable memories of the town of Vermillion.

That sounds cool to still have memories from the state. Can you tell us some of the memories that you have of the place?

Well the most endearing memories are of bonding and togetherness. We lived in a cozy and very lovely neighborhood where people were very warm. It was very cold with blizzards and lots of snow. Behind our house were the potato fields and beyond them the highway. I learned to ride a bike there. I remember the Girl Guide trips from schools and the BBQ... Roasted marshmallows and hotdogs.
Went to a lovely school and still recall my classmates with so much wondness.

Your memories of South Dakota are very peaceful. I would like to visit India some day. I love masala chai and Indian cuisine. One of my favorite dishes is veggie kothu. Also, I like Indian hospitality. Thank you so much for sharing your experience in South Dakota 😊.
