@blitheSun94
Looking good! I hope you are enjoying having some yarn in your hands once more!
Thanks for the inspiration, Emo! I find that I like working with alternating colors even more.
@blitheSun94
Mixing up the colours can be fun, although I often get yarns that have transitions in them as well to change the colour on their own. How is your scarf coming? Will you make matching hat and mittens/gloves too?
@EmotionsListener
I have several versions of gradient yarn as well. That's a great idea! Although I would first have to learn how. Can't be that difficult, right?
I fully intend to wear the full-sized hoodie sweater my late grandmother knitted before I was born this Christmas, along with a knitted hat and finger gloves that were previously gifted to me. I think I am getting obsessed again. I think about it at work because I'd rather be knitting than working, lol.
@blitheSun94
Sounds like a healthy obsession to me 😜
@blitheSun94
I find if I'm getting obsessed it's a sign my mind is needing the meditative practice, not to mention the sense of accomplishment when I am done. So perhaps you need that sort of low stress, repetitive, but productive energy as part of your self care right now?
there's a word for that, actually: Procrasticrafting. Me too though, me too
@blitheSun94 nice picture, clear and concise stitches well done! What are you creating?

Thank you, Misty. Consistent tension is key! At this point in time I only have patience for scarves. I have made a baby blanket in the past, but I find I much prefer bamboo needles to circular needles. Perhaps I will learn hats or socks next!
@blitheSun94 I use circular bamboo lol! They are brilliant, warm and smooth and soft for my hands. Best of both worlds!
Hats are easy just knit then sew up the back seam?
Oh and please post progress pics too :) I love seeing creation at work!

@MistyMagic Same hear.
@blitheSun94
That is beautiful blithe :) It reminds me of Loyola University Chicago colors and of my mum and other family members who knit from time to time.
Thanks for sharing your creation. Hope it is as comfy as it looks.
@blitheSun94
well done
Thank you, kindly.
@blitheSun94
you are very welcome
@blitheSun94 That is amazing, my friend.
Thank you, Mango. I need to hop back to it! Haven’t picked it back up since this photo, lol.
@blitheSun94 Just wonder how you have been, and how the sowing going?
Have you started it back up, yet?
@blitheSun94 so cool i crochet and sell bucket hats and stuff
@shayy17
That's so cool! I have a friend who has an Etsy shop. She is getting so much business that she recently had to shut down the shop to get caught up. I would definitely call that a positive problem! Sounds like a fun way to generate some extra income. Do you have any photos of your work?
@blitheSun94
Hey I have just started knitting day 3 and I’m super excited about my knitting learning journey. This looks great 💕😊

@blitheSun94
Love seeing your progress❣️
Thanks! I’ve thrown the pattern out the window. Whatever happens, happens. 🙂
@blitheSun94
Pattern? What's a pattern? 😉
I find with anything rectangular I tend to make my own patterns, even if I start with a stitch pattern, I'll still often end up doing what I want with it instead, so just going with how you feel makes total sense to me!
