Favorite handmade jewelry

@JAMommy I'm not a crafter, nor wear jewelry, but I admire all kinds of handmade works of art, and jewelry is among the most surprising ones for me. Would you like to share some of your creations?

oooh I design and make jewellery, but I cant get the hang of crocheting lol its way too complicated!

I use a knitting dolly to make " rat's tails ". Then using 3 strings, plait them in the middle, add any jewels or beads at the centre point. Tie the 3 tails together to make one string either end. Add fastenings and hey presto...you've got a necklace.

That perspective stuck with me too. It highlights how much deeper jewelry can be when it is created with intention. After finishing the book I actually looked into modern custom design studios out of curiosity and came across Olertis. Their approach to building pieces around personal stories felt very much in line with the themes explored in the book, which made the reading experience linger a bit longer for me.
