1. I’m exhausted. Still getting used to my new medication and feel like a space cadet. Just want to be held, but due to the pandemic, and having broken up with my boyfriend in November, that’s not an option. 2. February was rough. However, there was also a lot of positive change. My boss finally laid off me after she got written up by HR for discriminating against me. I have a bigger support system. I have therapy today. 3. I’m looking forward to longer days and more time outside. My foot is finally feeling better, so I’m hoping to go skiing at least once this year.
I am sorry about the new medication and the lack of hugs, but it sounds like other things are looking up. The other things will improve eventually. I know that isn't much comfort, but you have got lots of support here too. @cyanCup5451
1. How are you doing?
I'm tired. I woke up at 3:30 a.m. to shut off my alarm, take my meds, and then take a shower. I went for a walk while it was still dark because I need the exercise.
2. How was February for you?
Not the best, but still not the worst. My friend is finally recovering from coronavirus. I gained one pound in February, meaning I've lost a total of seven pounds since I started dieting and exercising in January.
3. What are you looking forward to in March?
My SSDI check. When I get it in a few days I'll be able to pay my rent and some bills and go grocery shopping. I'm not holding my breath for the stimulus check, but things really have been hard concerning money and stuff.
I am so glad that you are continuing to get out to walk and are doing the diet. You should be quite proud of yourslef for sticking with it. @integrityblues

It's touch and go, really. Sometimes I don't even bother because of my anxiety or my general exhaustion and depression.
Every day that you do manage to make it is a victory. Every day that you don't was one where you were supposed to rest. Both are okay.@integrityblues

In a really poor mood. Seems like I need another change in my meds . My mood just remains too grumpy , peevish and angry all the time . Also the quality of thoughts my mind produces aren't good at all . All this is really draining and energy sapping . It feels like you are constantly running / sprinting all the time with no stops .
Does anyone relate to this ?
I am definitely feeling the running and sprinting at the moment. I had to think back hard over today to come up with a single moment where I felt really connected to the world around me. But I found one and that helped me realize that life isn't only stress. @calmsoulmeet

Btw how does one deal with excessive grumpiness and anger ? I just can't keep calm and all this is spoiling my relationships with other people . I am thinking of asking my psych to make changes in my meds to resolve this issue . But , I wish there was a way out without using meds .
I sometimes just accept that I am grumpy for no real reason. Today it was getting butter on my pants at breakfast. I just try really hard to swallow it and not let it impact when I speak. But I can easily mess up.
I wish that I could do it without meds as well. However, I recently relapsed after trying to cut back just one of the meds to every other day. So I went back up and am trying to accept that my brainwaves aren't ready to change right now.@calmsoulmeet

I am looking forward to being one month closer to visiting my long distance partner :)

I'm not doing any better then last month... My mom has been exactly the same she makes gagging noises everytime there's a show with gays or lesbians kissing and well I have a girlfriend... And.. It's.. insulting

What am I looking foward to in March? Maybe because it's spring I can go on a date with my girlfriend... of course it wouldn't be a date date because of my mom...
