What do you hate about yourself?

Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.

That I've never been smart, and a lot of the time end up saying the really wrong thing.

There are multiple forms of intelligence and ultimately people often say the wrong things. It's okay to do so. And it is okay to think uniquely.

I can no longer function as a normal person...

That I can't function normally. In my day to day life. I can't feel like humans. I can't be like them. Anyone whoever knows me but can't look can't feel deep enough to see who I am. To see how i think who i am what i really am. I am turned into a jerk falsely. however no one ever knows that this is not the reality. I don't feel hate, I don't feel anger. I don't comprehend age race gender. Yet no one understands no one accepts and I end up being seen in a bad way and being treated and made to feel like being me is to be a monster. The world is unfair and far from understanding.

I want to quote, cause I have got a similar problem

"I hate that Im weak. Its like Im unable to cope with anything that normal adults cope with. For the past few years, it feels like everything I do is so physically and mentally taxing, the weather is getting out of bed or trying to find a real job. I cant face the reality of life, the reality that time is slipping away. I feel like I wanna curl up into a ball and avoid everything by sleeping forever. I know that people around me confuse it for laziness, but its really not; my body and mind would rather run ten marathons than face my future. I hate that Im uncomfortable and awkward. People close https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/time-management/ to me have always called my weird and theyre probably right. I scorn having photos or videos taken of me because it shows me myself from an outside perspective and I constantly look stiff, anxious and unattractive. Its hard to explain. I wish I was confident and comfortable in my own skin".

I visited psychologist (10 times). It was a great possibility to understand who am I. It helps me to cope with depression by sharing my problems and thoughts with people

Mostly my weight, working to change that but as everyone knows it is slow going, also just existing the whole...i forget the term but where people can always praise you but it doesn't make you think any higher of yourself and that when they put you down it does make you feel lower... then we have the struggle to find my flirtatious side, that one has been an issue for a few years, lastly i hate my heart condition. No one and i mean no one deserves to have their heart shut down just cause they feel alone. However right now that appears to be the most likely event.

I hate the fact that my brain has become conditioned to always believe as myself as lesser than others.

I never believe any of the good things people say about me, only the bad. I don't find compliments genuine anymore. When people reach out to me when I'm feeling like shit, I just think they're doing it out of pity, not actually wanting to know me. Something like easing their conscience/raising their ego by "helping" me feel better. I've become so deluded into thinking I'm never enough that I don't think any amount of attention, talking, and listening will ever be able to fix this.
