What do you hate about yourself?

Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.

How do I start this...

I'm still making the same mistakes that leads to affects the people around me. Which I really don't know what to do about it but to apologize for everyone around me.

I'm so selfless, I can't dare to say "no" to people because I'm afraid I might hurt their feelings. Even when I know that they don't care about me and often use my "kindness" to bring me down.

I hate my guilt. The guilt is just eating me away every single day. The morning is the worst. I just woke up from poor sleep and starts to cry, without knowing the reason. It just make me feel pathetic.

I hate that. I hate my life. I hate every thing about me. There's so much more. It just doesn't make sense to me.

I hate how I'm unable to talk to people. I hate how I do something for another person but it makes me feel like I'm dying or trapped or just... an awful person. I feel like I'm talking to everyone behind a glass case. I just wish I could communicate what I think.

When I was a teenager, I hated my wide hips and thick thighs. Now, I'm ok with that. This is something that I cannot change. What I hate about myself now is how close I am. It's very difficult for me to open up to other people. As a result, I have few friends and I hate that I'm always concern of being judge by other people

I hate the most about myself is I am a big time overthinker. I am always busy with thoughts and making up stories in my mind, that too full of negative thoughts.

I am not sure if I could love me or not.

@Nehathakur I do the same. Its literally exhausting but I can't help but obsess over what people think of me or that I'm constantly saying or doing something stupid.

@girlgerms I feel the same way, like nothing is ever good enough and although I try so hard it seems as though it's never enough or maybe my idea of trying isn't actually trying
