What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
My need to be around other people ( Co-dependancy) which is making live after re-location really hard.
Lack of Emotional Survival skills ( I don't know how to not invest my self into this so I usually get my feelings hurt).
Inability to let failed life goals go... it's hard for me to make piece with what I perceive to be a failure.
There are so many Things that I have about myself I would be typing all day! I hate how needy I feel. I hate that im a burden. I hate that my life is shit!

i hate that i cant control my thoughts when i want to
@carefulCurrent8337 Instead of trying to control your thoughts, try understanding them. ^^
@carefulCurrent8337
Me too, mostly when I have suicidal thoughts...
I hate that Im this old and still keep making the same mistakes
@6Aggy6 Mistakes are what makes us human, you trying to learn from your mistakes is all that matter :)
Everything.
I hate the fact i was too nice over many situations and circumstances that eventually lead me feeling alone and with high instics of distrust.
@DoORTry I understand, there are times that we act without thinking and end up doing good for people who don't even deserve it.But lemme tell you that it isn't something normal,it's something what heroes do :)
i hate that i cant control my mind
I hate that when I finally start to feel positive and have a great outlook on life I let little things bring me right back to the bottom. I always feel good and then I know I don't take criticism well even if it's "constructive criticism" and most of the time it's just people being mean to me. And I hate my thugs and stomach. I hate my nose and my teeth and my small eyes
You want a list? I'm not sure I want to take the kind of effort it would take to list every reason to hate me. Maybe a few bullet points
-I'm a miserable piece of garbage
-I have the feeble and stagnant mind of an idiot
-Everything I touch falls to pieces and my very presence is a black hole upon the world
I think that's enough. I'm not much for getting into specifics. There's another thing, I guess. I hate the wall of iron I've put up between me and the rest of the world. Never let anything in or out. That's been my way for a long time.
I'm honestly debating if I should post this or not since no one really cares about my self-loathing stupidity but I've written longer, dumber things and put them out there knowing no one would care. It's not like that's stopped me before. So, if anyone sees this, you'll know which way the debate went.
@Rilon it's brave of you to recognise your feelings, even I feel the same but I never accept it.I have lost literally every person I have ever been attached to,it got scary to the point I no more get attached to anybody.
but I have found different ways to live now without loathing myself.
You might have gone through a lot for feeling this way
just know there are people who do care about you and I am glad I got to read your thread.
good job for expressing yourself! :)
@Karasuno07 I don't know that it's really all that brave of me. I've known this about myself for a long time. But thanks for the sentiment anyway. I've always been aware of the people who care for me but I've felt like a dead weight to them for basically my whole life.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to say something to me. Hope you're doing okay. I just wanted to say that.
@Rilon Oh look. I found it again. Goody. Nice words, idiot. Christ, I hate you. At least the list of things is still true. Maybe I'll add to it.
-My idiot brain ceases to function in a reasonable manner and I can't form coherent words or thoughts.
-Every bit of frustration within me is buried so deep I'm not even sure I know what caused it anymore.
-I also hate the fact that I can just bury all this stuff so easily. A smarter person would be able to let these things go. But you're not very smart, are you? You've always been a moron. No matter what anyone says you know the truth.
That's enough. I'm already bordering on crazy without replying to myself like this.
