What do you hate about yourself?
Depression is bizarre in how in alters the way we think. We may know logically that it is our depression making us think this way but knowing that doesn't invalidate it. So write down what exactly you hate about yourself, let it all out. Once you do look back at what you wrote. Hopefully documenting your thought process will make it easier to work through your issues. Plus we will all be here to help.
My lack of faith and my inability to get closer to God.
i hate that im on this stupid website because i have no one else to talk to in my pathetic little life
I have a love hate relationship with my perfectionism. What I am truly great at, I credit my ruthless perfectionism for. However, everything else, and for most of the day, I end up beating myself. I expect to be competent in everything I do, and yet I know this to be an impossibility. Someday I need to learn that I am human and be okay with that.
I hate my lack of motivation outside of work
I hate that I make bad decisions all the time and i keep repeating my same mistakes over and over
@DakotahWasHere I feel this
@cosmicjellyfishqueen
I hate how apathetic I am. I hate my inability to commit to really nice, really great people. I hate that I have no plan for my future. I hate how angry I constantly am, how ready to explode I'm always feeling. I hate my body; I hate that my acne prevents me from feeling the confidence I know I can have. I hate that I feel safe while reading fictional books about other peoples' problems to get away from my own. I absolutely despite how no matter how crappy I feel, I can't cry. I hate how tired and dead I feel all the time. But most of all, I hate how I treat my family and take out all of my problems on my family
@MadCatter I relate to a lot of this ❤
i am only words. i mean i only talk about doing things i dont actually do them. that is i procastinate a lot. also i am a coward.
allowing myself to be stuck in my trauma after 8 years of treatment.
@teleah70 everyone has different speeds of healing, but if you are open and willing towards the process you will get there, no matter what the time frame. Hang in there, sending good energy your way
Everything.
@Jenjen17
I feel like this all the time
@Jenjen17 I'm sorry to hear this and I hope in time you will be able to see and appreciate things about yourself, just as you might appreciate a friend or another person in your life. A lot of times we have to grow our own love for the self but it is very possible and well worth it. Be well...
