Bad Grades

I’ve been suffered from extreme anxiety and depression this year and it’s been really hard to balance out my life properly. I’ve failed a lot of exams but my report card was out today and well. I Most got D’s and C’s with only one A and one B to back it up

and that B? Was in English. My usually strongest sector due to the fact I do want to become a writer. I was so heavily disappointed seeing I landed a B as my final grade and somehow dropped to C by the second semester which was the immediate route to getting a B.

my parents are surprised I didn’t fail, they’re alright with my grades, me, however I’m on the edge of a breakdown.

I’m very sorry to hear that you’ve been going through a tough time.

It’s understandable that you’re feeling disappointed and overwhelmed.

It’s important to remember that grades are not the only measure of success and that it’s okay to struggle sometimes.

There are many ways to cope with anxiety and depression.

Some strategies include eating well-balanced meals, getting enough sleep, getting involved in your community, and talking to someone about your feelings.

You might also consider seeking support from a mental health professional who can help you develop coping strategies tailored to your specific needs too.

It’s great that you’re reaching out for help.
Remember to be kind to yourself and take things one step at a time.

Some things that can also help with school are:

  • using an AI Chatbot as a personal tutor (like Bing Search Chat)
  • getting a human tutor if necessary
  • learning strategies for how to study effectively and efficiently
    (this can be extremely helpful)

There are lots of solutions available if one searches the internet too.

Please remember to always check any ideas appropriately before using them.

I hope this gives you some ideas
and resources to find your own best solutions
for your unique situations.

You are allowed to have a bad semester where even your best subjects are harder. Your brain probably feels like sludge at the moment and that makes school very hard to trudge through. But blaming yourself makes it all worse.

What kinds of self care are you doing at the moment? When do you have to start back to school again? Getting yourself on more even footing sounds pretty critical. @Taintedrose112
