🌷 Day 20 & 21 : Petals of Progress Challenge 🌷
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to nurture your mind with compassion. I sincerely apologize for not uploading yesterday.....💐 Here are two activities to help you bloom with kindness and anchor in the present.
🌸 DAY 20: Kind Word Flower Pots 🌸
“Affirmations are seeds, plant them daily and watch your confidence grow.” 🌷
Activity:

Directions :
1️⃣ Color the flower pots with affirmations that resonate most with you.
2️⃣ Practice daily: Say your chosen kind words aloud or silently.
Remember 🌷:
“You are a garden. Water yourself with words that help you grow.”
🌿 DAY 21: 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique
“Anchoring in the present is a gift to your future self.” 🌿
Activity:

Identify:
1️⃣ 5 things you SEE (e.g. a lamp, a plant, your hands)*
2️⃣ 4 things you TOUCH (e.g. your shirt fabric, a pen, your phone)
3️⃣ 3 things you HEAR *(e.g. birdsong, traffic, your breath)*
4️⃣ 2 things you SMELL (e.g. coffee, fresh air)
5️⃣ 1 thing you TASTE (e.g. water, lip
balm)
Remember 🌱:
“Wherever you are, you are here. And here is enough.”
P.S. Take these activities at your own pace...progress, not perfection, is the goal. 💚
@Angelanj
"Affirmations are seeds, plant them daily and watch your confidence grow."
This is such a perfect way of putting it.
It includes the fact that affirmations are not an instant cure. But with time and work they can achieve great things. This is positive without setting up unrealistic expectations.
It is also includes the fact that Affirmations start off small and hard and we should see encouragement, not discouragement in that.
@Clio9876 Absolutely! Affirmations aren't going to work overnight but if one stays consistent with them, overtime they will see the true and real benefits! Being aware that it'll take a lot of time an effort to feel like it's working would definitely help you in setting realistic expectations/goals. Same thing for starting small.
I'm glad you enjoyed the quote! Sending light and love your way! 🫂💞
