Depressed I guess
I’ve been thinking about myself and my worth. I don’t believe I’m valuable to anyone. I’m kind and friendly, caring, empathetic, and understanding, I don’t judge. But I’m also not as thoughtful as I thought, I can sometimes be selfish, lazy, very passive and practically a push over. At best the only thing I know I offer is kindness and listening to people. I’m not fun, I’m a bit funny though, I’m not very social and conversational, I’ve had my fair share of traumas like SA, physical and emotional abuse, a lot of judgement, mainly from my father. Every friend I’ve ever had has left. Except now, I have 2 really good friends and an amazing boyfriend, but I feel like I’m a burden to them. I feel like I’m too anxious, too depressed and I don’t wanna drag them down. I live with my mum and sisters and I hate it. They’re constantly going off at me for things that I don’t do but neither do they. I feel singled out. My mum will say things like ‘my sisters do this and that but you never do this or that’ ‘you should be more like them’. I just want to feel like I’m enough, I know other people think I am but I want to feel it, I don’t feel it. And I feel like I’m reaching my limit.

Feeling it and knowing it is part of self-love and self-care. When we decide how we feel about us is more important than petty complaints or past judgements. Trying to be like others is not the answer.
It took me a long time and realize I am enough. perfect? No but who is. I quit measuring by outside standards.
Friends come and go and frankly that is OK.
We learn and grow when engaging with new situations and new people. it is nice to have your friends or partners see us and how that makes us feel but that is temporary......... seeing ourselves and liking ourselves is permanent
