Help Me.

I have two really good friends who have helped me without even knowing it. We have shared so many memories together and I couldn’t thank them enough. However I find my self distancing myself from them and others I care for. I feel like I’m not appreciated, like my company isn’t welcome, or like I’m just not good enough for them. When we’re playing games online sometimes I just go silent and hear them enjoy themselves. I act like I’m enjoying myself when I’m really not. I don’t even talk to others, and I’m scared to text others to do things because I feel like I’m a burden or like I’m putting them in a tough spot just by asking. I only act like this with people I’m close with. I couldn’t care less about people that I’m not as close with. I can talk to them and whatever but they’re just not my people. I live with dark thoughts and I often put myself down. My day consists of school and sleep. I’m not interesting. I have no self love, I am not enjoyable to be around. I feel like people can rely on me when they’re down but I have nobody to rely on. I need help I just don’t know what I need. If I continue with these thoughts I can see my friendships coming to an end and I don’t see anything going well for me.

@Eli414

     You are not alone in this we may not be enjoying a time with friends and think "they seem to be enjoying themselves it must be me".... we slowly just distance... we do not reach out or call  or maybe answer when they call etc.

      Many people sit at home thinking a friend must be busy or doing something. ...the "i do not want to bother them"  ..... not knowing or considering   they too  may think  that we are busy or not interested in doing something.        When we do some things with friends that  are OK..... but not real fun.   Shutting down or distancing ourselves  only makes sure we miss out the next invitation .

      The next time  when we could have really enjoyed ourselves. Your friends probably  also go through that.  We can be polite and pretend but in the end do we consider they too may be pretending  or exaggerating that they  "enjoy" things.

So many things we put on ourselves .....never even thinking others can be going through it... Connect with friends, try new things and do not put too much pressure that every event must be the a graet time.  When we do that ....every thing we do falls short of those expectations.
