I am letting it flow altogether
When you’re tired, even love starts to feel heavy.
Sometimes, people don’t see how much you’ve already given. They only notice the moments you pause, not the countless times you stood up and tried again. I didn’t refuse to help or teach my sister because I was selfish — I was just tired. Tired of carrying every small responsibility, tired of being told that my worth depends on how much I can do for others.
They call it selfishness when you try to rest.
Maybe that’s how our elders were taught — to keep working until their hands forgot how to stop. But I’m not them. I’m allowed to be human. I’m allowed to breathe. A single holiday should be enough to rest, to enjoy, or to simply exist without guilt. But no, there’s always a voice reminding me: “You’re wasting your time.” As if peace itself was something we must earn.
When anger becomes louder than love.
I’ve seen anger up close — sharp, sudden, and terrifying. I’ve learned that fear can live quietly in the same house as affection. Sometimes, love comes with shouts and threats, and you learn to read the room like a battlefield. I still remember the knife, the words, the trembling. I was young, and somehow, I survived it. And maybe that’s enough — survival.
They never see how much we’re trying.
We make mistakes, yes, but we’re trying. Trying to do things right, to fix what’s broken, to keep peace in a house that doesn’t know what peace feels like anymore. Maybe it’s true — maybe it’s easier to blame the one who stays quiet, who listens instead of shouting back. But silence doesn’t mean guilt. Sometimes it’s just the only shield we have left.
A small flame in the dark.
When I feel too overwhelmed, I do something small to calm myself — something that reminds me emotions can fade too. It’s like watching the chaos shrink into light, until all that’s left is a soft calmness. It’s not destruction — it’s release. Just a way to say: I’m still here, even when it hurts.
And maybe that’s all healing really is.
Not about being unbreakable, but learning to stand up again and again. Maybe we all have our own quiet ways of finding peace, of breathing, of not giving up. I don’t know if I’m wrong or right — but I’m still trying
@communicativeKiwi4255 you're doing good. whatever people say, whatever comes and goes- you're doing good. you're right, i believe. a lot of it is about surviving. a lot of times there is nothing to do but keep going. there's no magical fix to alot of things, but here we are. that's pretty cool, all things considered 🤍
