I don't know what to do to feel like not giving up is worth it

I (20F) am struggling with depression harder than I've ever been in my life probably. Absolutely everything feels like a chore, even stuff like eating or drinking water or going to the bathroom. I cry every single day and night and I don't know what to do, I feel like I'm grieving the person I used to be, if that makes sensei. I recently moved houses to a place I don't like that's very different and I'm not taking it well at all, I'm autistic and a change as big as this one is way too overwhelming, on top of that my intrusive thoughts won't leave me alone. I don't know what to do, every day I wake up and I'm instantly dreading the day that awaits me even if I do nothing all day, all I do is rot in my bed and cry and at this point getting better sounds almost worse because of how much effort that is since I have 0 energy for anything, and I feel that even if I tried I'll never succeed and that'll just end up hurting me more. Just needed a place to vent sorry

@Nervousautisticgirl venting here is always welcome!  I'm sorry you are going through this!  It sounds very difficult!  But hopefully with some time, the move won't feel so large anymore!  Can you start with something small, like building a small routine around the new place?  I would also suggest doing something tiny every day that you enjoy.  Baby steps!  But you can do this!

@Nervousautisticgirl sometimes that is all we can do!  Don't let the hard days win!

I understand. Depression saps you of your energy to do anything at all, you’re not just physically exhausted but mentally too. And you might feel the change in your environment is not helping as people with autism do not respond well to changes in general. You miss the person you used to be, I get it. You feel that you’re stuck in this vicious cycle but I promise you it does get better and you can break out of it. Would you like to vent more?
