I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. Please try to be more gentle with yourself because you have actually done something right, that is seeking help from 7cups. Seeking help is a brave thing to do and it's the very first step in feeling better. I know what it feels like to struggle with social anxiety, especially when speaking a foreign language, but i also know that social anxiety is treatable. Many people and me are a living proof that social anxiety is indeed treatable!
Yes, it is more difficult to talk to people when you've stayed only at home for too long, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible. Your life may not be the way you want right now and that's okay. You can slowly step out of your comfort zone and i know and believe that one day you'll be able to do the things you thought you couldn't.

And please don't ever feel like a loser. I see you as a brave person, a person who wants to live their life to the fullest. A person who wants to be free and escape from a violent family. And what you did..moving to a foreign country, is a very brave act.
You deserve to live life to the fullest and i hope one day you can achieve that. But you are actually already in the process. Writing a public comment in 7cups , telling your personal story is a sign of bravery. You are braver and more capable than you think!

I’m so sorry you’ve been through so much. Escaping violence and ending up isolated would leave anyone feeling scared and stuck. You’re not weak or a failure; healing from trauma takes time and small, gentle steps, and you don’t have to do it all at once.
