It's Christmas day
I'm an immigrant working abroad.
Today is Christmas day.
I looked out the window and saw the Christmas light around my neighbour's house.
The light of the living room is lit and I can see the family is watching TV together besides the fireplace from the window.
The ornament of the Christmas tree in their living room is so beautiful.
The kids running around, and the parents are busy preparing food for Christmas dinner
And I am at my home, eating dinner by myself.
My life isn't too bad. It's just a bit lonely, and I felt that hard especially on Christmas day. Where all my friends have their own family to spend time with.
How I wished, I have someone to spend time with on Christmas.

First Merry Christmas! I understand, when I was growing up we had large family Christmas but as I moved away I had Christma alone. A couple years ago I meant friends that became close friends and we did Christmas together and I finally had others to celebrate with again. But events lately with them have broken the friendship we had and we didn't get to celebrate this year.
It can be very hard being alone on holidays, seeing all the friends and families together. I wish there was more those that are alone during holidays had to feel included.
I hope that you can find others to celebrate with soon and you can look back on these days as memory's.
