Question for all the men out there

tw: mental health

Does it make a girl less attractive or undatable to be mentally/emotionally unstable? Like crying a lot, constantly apologizing, being mad one second but the next apologizing etc.

Also would you date or love a girl like that? Would you help her heal?

Absolutely not, we know most of the time it's the illness speaking rather than the person and we try not to take it personally.

When you're with someone you signed up to be with them on their bad days just as the good ones, our feelings doesn't change.

@LunaMothx

After having a baby moms do have a rollercoaster of emotions for awhile and it doesn't make them less loveable at all, it requires patience, understanding, and love from those surrounding them. Don't blame yourself for what has happened, blaming yourself causes more wounds instead give yourself some healing loving space where you think positive about yourself. Seriously, if a guy isn't there for you in your bad times he shouldn't be there with you in your good times. Everyone here ❤️ you, it takes a lot of courage to get help! Proud of you.

@LunaMothx I'm sorry it does, it can. Apologizing is okay. Crying part is not. It makes a guy feel he's not able to keep you happy. His presence is not magical enough for you.

Also I see many folks saying no but I'm not sure if they experienced this ever.

It's not about being unattractive but more about being undatable because at the end you'll carry a burden of making someone pain.

@LunaMothx

I don't believe that it makes someone less attractive, however, there should be some self-awareness there and willingness to take action to better themselves before entering a long-term commitment. It would better the relationship and themselves. Just my perspective!

@LunaMothx

I'm not a man, but i am a lesbian (feel free to ignore this if you only want a man's opinion on this). Alright, so when it comes to me, it depends on the person I guess. It does not in any way make a person unattractive (maybe because I have a thing for helping people and making them a better version of themselves). But at the same time, I wouldn't want to be with that person if I'm the only one giving and giving all the time. If the person is emotionally unstable, I am ready to be there for them, if they're there for me most of the times when I need someone. That's what matters. The balance is the key

@LunaMothx Hey Luna! I'm not the person that should be answering the question (since I am a girl lol). But, I wanted to let you know that you should not have to change who you are to make the person like you. The person for you, will love you and help you out whenever you need it. They won't make it seem like you are a burden for them. They will love you for who you are!
