Sadness ❤️
Hey Community,
I hope you are all doing well (I know at times life is really difficult)
Recently I have realised that many people around us and in the community often feel sad or upset, sometimes we feel a range of emotions and it can be really confusing to identify and to also 'feel' how we feel.
Emotions can be overwhelming sometimes and sometimes we just feel really sad and we feel like a dark cloud is constantly following us. Other times we feel like there is constantly something to worry about. And of course, there are so many emotions we can feel.
I hope you know your feelings are valid and your allowed to feel that way 💜
Sometimes misunderstandings and people invalidating how we feel makes us feel guilt. Its important we acknowledge that it's okay to feel 'sad' and it's okay to process your emotions but to also take your time.
I hope you know that in the dark sky and in the thunderstorm that's following you, stars hang in the sky whilst you sit in the darkness ❤️
Let's be kind and gentle with ourselves and others. Let's take it one step at a time together. 💜
This is a safe space for everyone and your welcome to share anything! 🙏

Hi, Bunny!
How timely your post, that's exactly what I feel right now.
I feel very, very sad.
I am very, very sad that Beck is leaving 7 Cups.
Beck will leave and we won't see her, never ever again. At this moment I am heartbroken.
I appreciate her so so much, she is such a loving presence and an inspiration, always trying to help in any place as much as she can. Where there is a need, there will be Beck. And she is so bright she can really help a lot with anything. Any topic, any task she can do masterfully.
Beck is such a force of nature, with so much energy, enthusiasm and kindness. She did so much good to so many people. I have known her for about a year and a half and during this time I have seen her always contributing more, more and more, always gentle and kind, like the huge effort she was making was no effort at all.
And as a teammate, she is amazing, so friendly, conscientious and committed, always willing to go the extra mile if needed. She doesn't care about badges, roles or recognition. Only about helping people.
I am sad, sad, sad, sad!
I don't have the faintest idea what might have caused her to leave, but whatever it is, I am angry at it.
Here is lovely @beck1 : https://www.7cups.com/@beck1
Browse her latest posts there, they are amazing, that's just the tip of the iceberg of all she was giving us these days.
I will miss her immensely.

Hi Marcelo! Yes. I did hear the news :( Its very sad and I can hear how you feel. When people leave we can feel really sad and confused. And thats totally okay and normal. Its difficult to know that someone is leaving the community and we loose another gem. And of course, feeling sad is a valid emotion, your allowed to feel the way you feel. I am proud of you for acknowledging and sharing how you feel.
Beck was a very inspirational leader on 7cups and I am sure she will be remembered in the future by all of us. And maybe one day we will see her again! And like you said she brought a beautiful light to the community! And its completely understandable that its a really sad time in the community, to remember and to reflect on someone's journey, to how they supported us, to the beautiful light they brought, to their wonderful presence and so much more.
*Sending so much love to you*

I dont know where to turn. I am so scared. I havent stopped crying since my Aunt weakly said the words, "they put me on hospice today," to me on Friday night. I have never exposed myself like this in a forum and might grow to regret it.
@CATastrophizing
I can understand the fear and regret of sharing in forums 💜 I know it's scary but this is a safe and supportive place. I know it's hard to believe right now but we are here for you. Me understand how upset you are :( I'm sorry to hear. Crying is valid my friend and me understand how you feel. 💙 I'm very proud of you. I hear you those words can be difficult to hear 🙏 I'm hoping and wishing the best for you and always here to talk :(

@amiableBunny4016 I don't really understand my feelings and emotions. But I think I'm happy most of the time but sadness shows up at least once during the day
@Tinywhisper11

Hi Bunny! I hope you're taking care of yourself in this start to the new spooky month.
Lately most of my sadness has been feeling betrayed by my ex, who I still have to live with for now. I have a lot of resentment towards him for emotional abuse and for being mean to be both during and after dating. I don't want to blame myself for his behavior, though. So reminding myself that I am responsible for my own kindness, regardless of how someone else responds to it - taking advantage, abuse, that's not my fault.
@JarofSeeds627
Hi buddy,
Its lovely to see you and I hope your taking care of yourself too my friend!
I hear you about feeling betrayed :( abuse is something really difficult to be going through and no one deserves it at all. I can understand how you feel.
Its sensible that you are reminding yourself that ifs not your fault and his behaviour does not reflect upon you. I'm really proud of you for acknowledging that.
Your emotions and feelings matter :) you got this buddy! I'm wishing you all the best and here if you wanna talk! 💛
Super proud of you for sharing!
