The Anomaly

It doesn't happen every day.

In fact, I'd say more than half the days I feel awful, about how I look, where I am in my life in my 40s, and truthfully this place is getting me out of self-isolation mode of going it alone because I feel a burden to others.

But there are times Im perfectly content being an anomaly. I've never really fit in anywhere I've been, family, school, in my creative ventures, music, writing, and when I was in my 20s I was unapologetically this. I had confidence and conviction in who I was and what I was doing and I was more than ok and accepting in the fact I was good at more than one thing.

The trauma, PTSD, it took that away, and only now, in recent years, am I slowly getting it back.

@nicmidnight Hey I'm from your community diary post. I totally understand. Too much work to just survive and feeling like burning out. Is it possible to take a break where you don't have to give too much effort? Maybe going to the nature?
