Thank you, Bunny, for your inspiring and encouraging words!
You are so right to notice how terrible things that happen in the world create a background of deep sadness that affects us even when we are not thinking about them.
There is suffering all over the world, in every neighborhood, town and country. But it's not evenly distributed, and from time to time a catastrophe occurs that produces much suffering in a particular place.
Something particularly horrific, painful and disturbing this time is the scale and intensity at which terrible suffering has been inflicted intentionally, consciously and even joyously by human beings to other human beings.
Conscious human intentionality as the cause is well documented in mental health science to make any tragic event much more traumatic.
I think it's healthy to be aware of how much this might be affecting us. We might be feeling particularly depressed for no apparent reason, and this might be the cause.
We can't turn off our feelings, but being aware of them and their causes goes a long way to process them in the most healthy way possible.
Being aware might be all we can do at this moment, the best we can do to keep our sanity in this maddening context.

Aw! Your absolutely right! I agree with you. There is suffering in the world but it's so important to acknowledge our feelings and thoughts about the world. And of course the links with depression and anxiety about the events in humanity so far. Thank you so much Marcelo! You summarised it well!
I appreciate you so much! And again, thank you for being such a supportive and amazing part of the community!
Thank you!

Thank you, Bunny for bringing up this sensitive topic in such a tactful and supportive way. So we can look at and see this elephant in the room that might be affecting us.
And thank you for your warm words of appreciation, which I treasure coming from you (I have a small golden velvet-lined box where I keep your words).
Keep shining your warm light, Bunny!
