@livbinny hey there, it's understandable that feeling like your dreams aren't within reach and feeling lonely can make you feel depressed 😢🫂

What are some activities you think can help you to cope with the feeling of depression? Are there any hobbies you enjoy?

Yeah but those are out of reach n I don’t wanna spend my life on my room forever :(

can’t thank my family for this..

but I’m scared about some of those dreams to even reach out cuz I can lose what I never even had.

this is more than scary at times :(

despite having my own secret space to do it

i never feel it enough

@livbinny It sounds like you're carrying a really heavy burden right now, and I want you to know that I hear you. You're feeling trapped, longing for connection and fulfillment, but also deeply afraid of reaching for it. That's a really vulnerable and difficult place to be.

It's completely understandable that you feel like those self-care suggestions are out of reach. When you're feeling this low, even the smallest steps can seem impossible. And it's also understandable that you don't want to spend your life confined to your room. You're craving more, and that's a good thing.

The fear you're describing, the fear of losing what you never had, is incredibly real. It's the fear of disappointment, of vulnerability, of putting yourself out there and not having it work out. It's the fear that holds so many of us back. And it's okay to acknowledge that fear. It's a natural response.

It also sounds like you're struggling with a deep sense of unfulfillment, even in the spaces where you're supposed to feel safe and at peace. That's a really painful feeling.

Here are a few thoughts, keeping in mind that I understand you're feeling limited:

  • Acknowledge the Pain, Without Judgment: It's okay to feel scared, trapped, and unfulfilled. Don't try to force yourself to feel differently. Just allow yourself to feel what you're feeling, without judgment. Sometimes, simply acknowledging the pain can lessen its power.
  • Small Steps, Small Victories: Instead of focusing on huge, overwhelming goals, try to focus on small, manageable steps. Maybe it's opening a window to let in some fresh air, or listening to a song that you used to enjoy. Even these small actions can make a difference! If you can, even a very short walk outside can change the way you feel.
  • The Fear of "What If": That fear of losing what you never had is very real. But what if, instead of focusing on the potential loss, you tried to focus on the potential gain? What if you reached for your dreams and they came true. It's okay to be scared, but don't let fear paralyze you.
  • Understanding the Unfulfillment: Since you have your own secret space, ask yourself what is missing from it. Is it connection? Is it a sense of purpose? Maybe write down what you wish that space could provide you, this may provide insight.
It's clear that you're going through a really tough time. Please remember that you're not alone, and there is hope for things to get better. Be gentle with yourself, and take things one step at a time. 💗
