Wasted time
Hey just wondering if anyone else feels like they wasted alot of their youth?, like years, because of mental health struggles and also just internet addiction? I keep feeling alone in this, cause I keep on seeing people who genuinely got to enjoy those times, and it just makes me kinda sad cause it feels like I'm alone in this sometimes. I'm still young but I still wasted years of it and it kinda just sucks

🥺
I'm sorry you feel this way!
I understand, I lost the same for different reasons!
It can be overwhelming.
It's important to process what you feel and then make a promise to yourself, to leave the past where it belongs and don't waste the present time!
You have so much opportunities to embrace and look forward to going forward!
💜💕
Thank you for your kind words!! ð§¡ð§¡ Im trying to stop thinking about the past but I keep falling back but I'll keep on trying

Don't worry guys, I am the very person you mentioned! I am wasting my lifetime really. Our situation background might be different, tho. I am wasting time since April in US (am not a residnet), spending FMLA and desability leave, kinda addicted to mobile app. Not sure I will get recover well one day. But do even little one thing everyday only if I can.
Definitely not alone.
I think most people will feel this way at some point or another. The term mid life crisis exists for a reason.
We all find out about ourselves at different times and stages of life to a point where you know what you want and how you want to be. ie your authentic self and from there try love that life .
Social media is terrible and makes everyone think that their lives are wonderful and full of adventure but thats not real.
Like you said you're young so you have time to make up for what you feel you might have wasted so are further along and don't have that chance.
You are never alone .

You seem so kind and compassionate! I think it's amazing that you are reaching out and telling us how you feel. We can all assure you that you are not alone in this. Although I've never met you, I can genuinely tell you that you are amazing and I have a lot of compassion for you. I'm also young and I don't have many friends either. But knowing that there are people just like you makes me feel connected in a way knowing that there are others out there experiencing what I am experiencing.
You are amazing and we are always here for you! ❤️
I hope this message finds you well and puts a smile on your face because you deserve to be happy and at peace!!
Have a lovely day!!! ❤️

You are not alone. Many others, including myself, have gone through such struggles with mental health and internet addiction. We can't change the past, what's done is done. But we can move forward having learned from the past, using the past as a lesson that guides us in our decisions in the present.
I feel the same, I feel broken and just a misfit for the world. I see so many live life to there potential and I feel like i wated mine. I fee so alone because I also have no one to make me feel ok. It's hard and try my best to take one day at a time. But ik what u mean and ur not alone
Thank you for sharing! The more I read the threads on this app and the different experiences people have, I've realized that we are so much more connected than we think we are. It takes courage to express feelings and you are doing a wonderful job by opening up. We can all assure you that you are wonderful! If I knew you in person, I'd go out of my way to make sure that you feel safe and secure in your life! ❤️
We have such a good community here and just know that we are here to support you! The fact that we've all had such similar experiences is one of the reasons why I think we are all so connected.
Just know, you truly are amazing and please reach out if you ever feel lonely and want someone to talk to. We are here for you and I want nothing else but for you to feel at peace and secure!
