faked my Identity to talk to this older guy because I had no friends and I felt alone all the time me and my best friend at the time used to do it together it was our way to do something fun because we felt that you can be anything anyone you like online because we won't ever see them in real life that's just how we thought of it so this guy we we're talking for a bit and I left him because I knew it was wrong and I should do this I felt bad for how I was lying to him and he didn't deserve it so about a month ago I left him I said I'm a bad person im not who he thinks I am and I apologise for misleading him and I wish him the best then I blocked him yesterday I was minding my own business and I was thinking about him less and living my life until I saw that he messaged me my heart dropped because I thought he was moving on so he said something like U lied about everything thank you for that and I just said sorry again and blocked him off everything now I can't even live with myself I feel so bad for lying to him but I think I was right to realise I was wrong and left him he couldn't even get with me because I'm too young for him I've literally just turned a teen and I'm already *** up my life I can't sleep at night all I think about is what he said to me I wish I never did it I just need tips on how to move on with my life and never do it again I don't wish what I did to anyone or him ik what I did was very bad but I had a reason for it and I *** up bad and I'm never gonna let myself do this to anyone again

Tbh you are absolutely fine, it's really not as big as you think it is. That gentlemen you were talking to will forget about all of this even maybe make a joke out of it and in a way you actually helped him. You see he was misguided or even let his guard down when it came down to trusting a stranger on the internet. That's why they have those rallys and speeches at schools teaching young adults about internet safety. I will give you all a tip I use while meeting and talking to a stranger on the internet: take a normal household item and ask nicely for the stranger to hold it while taking a pichure. 9 time out of 10 I'm sure no one in there right mind has a pichure of themselves holding a toaster in there phone gallery. This allows you to either continue or distance yourself away from the stranger. If the stranger refuses to comply with the action, simply apologize for your security assessment and move on. They are more in likey not the person they say they are (or) are not willing to give you that safety reassurance which is also a red flag
