When giving up is the less scary option
I'm not gonna lie the recent deaths of the other slaves that were rescued with me. Has been a huge mental blow. I am terrified 😞 although I'm reasured if my safety, being looked after really well, and extra security being set up to protect me. I fear they will never give up they will never just let me live. I was doing well in my recovery process. Now it feels, I just don't know. I don't want to live in fear anymore. Giving up sounds easier

Think our moods are two sided scale, 🚥
Now the thing is, when we go through bad things, the scale could either show desperation or patience; here's what I mean!
If you have a hopeful and good mindset everything is going to be alright, and trust in God, you feel like you just need to "wait" because everything is still in order and everything is just under care and you are being watched and protected.
But if we lose hope, which we shouldn't! Be sad and desperate, and it gets just worse and worse until something really big, enough to cheer us really up happens! That is a very bad mood to be believe me! I have been there! A lot of thoughts, what will happen just pops in from everywhere.
So in this case, we need to have hope in God, and know that we are being watched and protected.

In Islam we say everything is in hands of Allah. There is no god but him. So, in this case, everything going on, from the cell in my brain to the very distant atom in space, from the proper breathing of my lungs to the proper vision of mine, from smallest to biggest, the neighbor next door, her husband and everything is under the care of Allah.
So as Muslims we say we don't need anything but him. Because we don't worry about 53 matters needs to be taken care of tomorrow. Because everything is under control of Allah.
For example, let's say we are going to request a promotion. If I am not thinking it throughly, if I don't tell myself everything is in his control and care, I would be extremely worried about my look, tie my tie very properly before going to work, practice my speech and worry about it, then I would be worrying about how the boss will react. And how will I go in, how the others perceive me, etc. Etc. Etc.
But when I think about it, I need to trust one pillar, and it is Allah. In control of everything in universe and in control of what will happen or not. It makes me so peaceful. I never worry about anything. How I go try something, in which attitude or in which condition. We just trust the one who has everything and decides upon them.
That's a really beautiful thing that gives us a lot of peace and lightness of heart. We are free of worries and anxiety this way :)
Oh I remembered one story. A Islamic scholar once came upon a Russian soldier. Everyone stood up as a respecting gesture whereas this scholar didn't. The Russian commander was a bit irritated and gave him a very stern response, as he was entitled to give such command, he gave the scholar a death penalty.
The scholars students were abit worried, but he was pretty calm and at peace.
A bit later the commander came back apologizing over and over again. He was saying to him that he did not know he did not stood up because of his religion, and kept apologizing.
It makes my heart fill with hope and feel really at peace and give me a sense of security. I feel trusting of Allah. Don't worry about this or that, just pray for the one who has everything under his order :)

You're a warrior Tiny. You've fought so hard to get to where you are right now with your recovery. Being afraid doesn't take that away the progress you've made
Unfortunately there will be people who leave sometimes when you open up. That's on them. They haven't lived a life like your's and the harsh reality scares them. I know it doesn't make it hurt any less though. You do have alot of people here that love and care about you. They stand with you - those are the ones that truly matter - the ones that stay ❤️

Ohhhhh noooo, not my Tiny saying giving up seems easier. You've gone through and endured so much in life. Don't you know that your life has purpose? Don't you know that God put you here for a reason? Don't you know that you are a gift to us and the world? Don't you know that you are loved and cared for? Tiny, please never give up that fight that lives in you! While you are entitled to have bad days and sad days and feel the way you do, you've got to know this feelings are only temporary. God loves you soooo much, my beautiful Tiny.... and guess what? Many of us here love you too. You don't have to feel alone. You don't ever have to be ashamed to share your story. Your story may give someone with a story similar to yours the desire and will to fight. You inspire others. You are such an incredible, beautiful, smart, creative, loving, thoughtful, and remarkable human being. There is no one like you. Your story is one that may frighten others. After all, what happened to you no human deserves to ever go through. But you're strong!!! You can overcome anything. Please call onto our Heavenly Father. @EidolonSeeker because noone wants to hear, when I try to explain my past. People leave it completely ignore me😞 I'm already ashamed of my past. But when people I thought where my friends here, in the chat rooms react like that. It makes me feel even more ashamed, like I did something wrong again. I was a sex slave for 18 years 😞

I know it's hard and giving up is easier I have put that pistol beside me over my fiance walking out on me I loved her dearly it put me in a dark place now I just take it day by day and pray he has a plan sometimes it's hard to see it but he does
