house
i’m tired of the yelling. i’m tired of the constant fighting that surrounds this house. i don’t think there’s been a day that passes without some sort of fight happening. it’s so exhausting. but i feel so selfish saying that. how can i ever say that when people go through so much worse? there’s no hitting there’s no assault happening? we have food on the table. we have education. we have no wars. how can i ever say im tired of this house when its the dream house for millions of children?

we could always find someone who has it worse to compare but that will not make us feel better.
It is ok to want to be happy and not fight and not dislike our surroundings... give yourself a break. each person's experience is worthy even if it is not as bad as i could possibly be.

Yelling and fighting is an emotional assault. Living in a house that has it constantly occurring creates the same effects of being in battle. Just because your injuries aren’t visible, doesn’t make them less hurtful.
