why do i keep getting ghosted
a friend i had for over 5 years stopped talking to me last year out of the blue. he sent me a message. i responded. then i never heard from him again.
a person i met a few months ago and i really wanted to be friends with hasn't responded to my messages in a few weeks. i guess she started dating someone and figured i wasn't worth her time anymore.
my therapist fired me a month ago.
what's wrong with me. please somebody help me. i am desperate and lonely and scared. my confidence has been severely shaken. i can't keep my old friends and i can't keep new friends. what's wrong with me. why can't people just be upfront and say that i'm not worth their time anymore. why can't they just say that i'm too stupid or ugly or too much of a weird loser. help

I guess you may need to ask yourself what were the last messages from your past friend ....
Honestly people anymore ghost many people they see a text/ message think they will get back but forget and when they do realize "darn they texted 4 days ago should i answer now or not "
many chose not to respond OR will say things like phone trouble / it just came through or something to make excuse to why they did not respond. this is happening to many people and has to me as well......people seem to have very short attention plans when it comes to keeping in touch.... have had family just get back to me days late....
i do not take it personally ....if i think i said something or a misunderstanding i ask outright what is the deal?
it is easy to internalize and think it is somehow you but what if .... in fact it is them.
while i don't know you, i'm curious as to why your therapist fired you. i am someone also seeing a therapist however, im told it is unethical for them to abandon a client, so have they told you why they fired you by any chance? i feel as if there may be something missing here.
