Favorite band
Guys, I know I do alot of music related posts, but that is because music had helped me in almost every situation... but anyway, my question today is:
What is your favorite band??
You cant tell me that when you are down you haven't just popped on headphones or blasted the radio. But which band is the one which is your go-to for depression?
My Personal Go-to has to be Disturbed.
They make alot of metal music, some inspiring, some with a much deeper meaning.
When I want motivation I go to "Indestructible", "What are you waiting for?" And "The night".
When I'm feeling down (and a little suicidal quite honestly) I like to listen to "inside the fire" One listen to that removes ALL thoughts of suicide! Trust me!

I'm a person who always cares about the lyrics and this band has made songs with good lyrics over a decade. Everytime I buy a CD I never regret it because every song on it is good.
They have songs for every mood: Feeling sad, feeling frustrated, being angry, feeling lonely, being in love and so on.
@greyphantom I must agree with you on that one! I've heard a few of their songs and they can be quite relatable. It's always nice to find a band you like with a perfect emotional balance! 😁
The band that's helped me a lot through my tough times is Coldplay. A few of the best would have to be Fix you, Us Against the World, Midnight, and Gravity.
Portishead is dank!!!!!!
My all time favorite band is The Backstreet Boys.. they always remind me of easier times and their new music really speaks to me as a mom and wife.
Mine has got to be Hollywood Undead or NF. Their music has a way of speaking to me and making me feel better when I'm low. I suspect it's because they sing about deeper topics and struggles that a lot of people can relate to.

Mine definitely has to be My Chemical Romance because of how intense the emotion is, I kind of feel joyfully numb and it let's me approach things with a better mindset.

MCR was the band which got me into rock music. It's still enjoy quite a lot of their songs.
My all-time favorite band is Franz Ferdinand, but my favorite artist for life is Prince.

different bands, songs, singers.
I'm a rare breed that enjoys every kind of music is.
Some of my favorite artists are Underworld, The Prodigy, Infected Mushroom, The Black Angels, Limp Bizkit, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Amon Tobin, Jefferson Airplane, Gorillaz, 1000mods, Dido, Hank III... Those are artists I can listen to in entirety. Usually I just get hyped over a certain piece of music.
Recently I've been getting into A$AP Mob.
My favorite genres are in no order: Psytrance, NuMetal, Psychedelic Rock, Emo, Outlaw Country, Funky House, Progressive House, Big Beat, Free Jazz, Contemporary Classical, Film Score, Alternative Rock, Conscious Rap, Alt. Hip-Hop.... the list goes on.
