I was looking for online mental health chatting and I finally found what I was looking for: 7cups
Honestly I just ended up googling online support/therapy/crisis lines because texting cramps my hands and I don't like phone calls... haha.. especially after being on hold for a text crisis line for over 30 minutes. I wasn't in an immediate crisis I was just so depressed I was crying for an hour straight.
so it was nice to find somewhere like this.
@tiredTea- glad you found this site. I agree- being able to use a keyboard makes this site so much more user friendly. Hope you are doing well. Take care.
After granny died, i used to find myself alone. I lacked the emotional support which i wanted for myself. My family are not supportive enough regarding my emotional needs. Searched play store and came across this app. I installed it and started talking and there was no looking back ever. I completed my Master’s programme by the help of this app and earned MYSELF a silver medal. I still use 7 cups whenever things are not good with me.

A place where I find a way to survive.
I joined a panel at Puchi-con call cosplay & mental health with a host name Nikki Loba. At the time, I was tired, but also anxious and depressed for two cause, one because it was the first convention I gone alone, and second a YouTube streamer called me disgusting for having an interest in an open relationship which scrambled my brain. Hearing her remarks and even suggest this app made me feel like I gotta give it a shot while waiting for a consoler. It started off rocky, but I'm slowly growing to this app, even when I feel depressed.
A friend of mine a few months back recommended it to me. It took me a while to get an account because I wasn't sure I really needed it, but after tonight I'm really glad I did.
My GP knows my psych dx, her office manager emailed me the site. My therapist has it now too.
I typed "mental health" into the app store and the rest is history : )

I was looking to find a site where I could volunteer as a minor to help those in need, and 7Cups allowed me to do so.
