My most helpful depression coping skill is....
Make a list (on paper or out loud) of why I'm awesome
@manngo
Hehe that's a great idea ^-^

I dont know about really coping but my best temporary depression relief can come from a little self care routine like taking a shower, doing my nails, putting on lotion or using essential oils; from baking something I like, or watching something that makes me happy.
Reading books and poetry. The more I read the, more I want to read!
Lying backwards on my bed. I don't know why. I think it's because from the end of my bed I can only see one wall, and from the top of my bed where my head goes I can see the whole room almost. It feels less overwhelming to look at just one wall at a time. Deal with one thing at a time in my head.
Watching a few episodes of FRIENDS and some inspiring TED talks help me relieve the stressful thoughts on my mind.
Painting. Watching my favorite movie.
Cuddling with my dog, baking or playing piano :)
@SammyLouise
That's lovely! I play piano too :3
@blossombreathe Thanks! That's great :) Playing piano is such a great stress reliever isnt it!
Cuddling my dog echo. She allows me to hold her for as long as i need, and licks away my tears.
@Erebas
Awh, Echo sounds like a lovely dog!
Thank you very much.
