One word that describes my depression today is....
Lost
Sudden
Drained
Volcanic
Controlled
@limeFan5228 Great and interesting word to describe depression, LIme, controlled. Describes my depression exactly. I wonder how much and why do I allow myself to be controlled by my depression? Is it my guardian and gatekeeper? Why and how do I empower it? Do I get a measure of security from it, as awful as it is sometimes? Is it like falling in love with your kidnapper (Stockholm syndrome)?
@sunDog64 it's just sometimes you get distracted from being depressed so much so that you don't even realise that you were depressed yesterday. And I believe if something drifts you away from it, let your self get drifted. I am tackling with depression myself but I have realised that it is not constant. Not if we want it to remain constant :)
@limeFan5228 Hi, Lime. Thank you for that visualization of "Drifting". That's very helpful.
I was actually have a kind of "Aha" moment when I made that post, but realized that later it might have come across as a freak-out moment. So I'll let that post drift away too (or maybe steam away on its own excessive energy).
@sunDog64 well life keeps changing for all us each day... Each moment. One day you get so freaked out that you might just wanna murder someone...the other day you feel like lending your stuffs to people for free. I think we should accept such changes and live with them. No one likes a monotonous life. You need to have some adventurous stories to tell at the get togethers after all
