I would like my self care routine to be with me spending at least one day a week to oil and massage my hair, me taking my medications seriously, me on a walk with mom every moring and evening, me protecting my best interest and me making my own stand <3

@LexIris I would like to establish a self-care routine where I'm consistent with it which almost never happens. It would consist of a proper balance between working and enjoying. I would include study/work hours, start doing physical activity which is negligible right now, reading books, listening to songs, some time for grooming myself and the most important part socializing which I don't do at all.

What does your current self-care routine look like? Or what would you like it to look like?: My self care routine includes sleeping, eating right, expanding my knowledge and trying to work out

My self-care routine changes according to my mood, and what do I feel like doing. But basically, skin care is super important for me, moisturizing, exfoliating, cleansing. I take a longgg shower and blast bands like 3DG and nirvana in the background. (Ah, singing your heart out in the shower.) Then, I make myself something I like for breakfast, and go on a walk. I then order a pizza for lunch because I already cooked once the same day, and I'm too lazy. After 2 hours, I go to my favorite place. I usually spend 2-4 hours there, before coming back and taking a longggg shower yet again. And then eat a super simple dinner, and go to bed early (after doing #skincareroutine2.)

And all of that, happens once or twice in a month. I'm trying to make it happen more often but I'm lazy and lockdown isn't helping.

Hmmm I don't have a routine exactly but there's a few specific things I do after a long day at work, like take a hot shower or a nap, listen to music and do some of my hobbies like cooking or baking

I made a self-care checklist and put it on my bathroom mirror (and keep a marker next to the hand soap). They aren't things I *have* to do and I try not to guilt myself if I don't do them, but they are sort of an "ideal self-care" thing and it makes me feel good to check them off. Essentially I have 5 days of the week marked off with "meditation" "work out" and "nourish" categories. I try to do all of this in the morning as I find I'm more likely to do them that way. I do a 5 minute meditation, the work out varies, and the nourish can be something like green tea or greek yogurt and berries. I tend to like doing this early in the morning just as the sun is rising. It feels renewing in some way. Def subscribing to this thread for ideas/inspiration and to see what y'all are doing.

My self care routine usually takes place on sundays. i go for a spa or sometimes visit a local turkish 'hammam' (It is based on the same principles as the steambath but the focus is on water rather than steam). When i don't go for either of those i usually have a quiet weekend at home with a nice novel and cuticle care

When I am able to, myself care routine happens at night. It starts with a warm bath and I always do a facemask while I am in the bath. then I get out, take my time to get dressed and brush my hair. Then I get blankets out of the drier and snuggle up to go to sleep.

Thanks for the post!
