Hey I'm more into electro and weird unknown music but I'm actually wondering if you guys know any really sad songs or really cheerful ones ?

I prefer rap/hip hop, not really the new stuff b/c it's too provocative and has no meaning, but I also love Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac. I also like some Mexican music my husband listens to, such as Carlos Santana.
I don't know how to explain this... the music I truly like has some sort of sentimental value to me or makes me feel certain emotions, regardless of genre. And then there's the music I "like", which basically music that makes me say "lol yay" everytime I hear it.
That's true, it happens to me too! That tune that, regardless if you liked it or not back then, it brings you back memories, and perhaps, now, you only like it for that reason.
I think most people have that. I like music to make me think/feel or music to have that gets me singing in my car or dancing around while I clean.

I've been listening to a lot of Oasis lately; the early stuff. Also, there's Portugal The Man, which is like Wu Tang meet's the Beatles. Interesting stuff.

I recently watched the movie 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' and loved the songs in the soundtrack. Mostly bands included were 'Junip' and 'Of Monsters and Men'. I think one should listen to their songs :)
I like coldplay, paramore, muse and kings of convenience, theyre songs are easy listening :v
I like Radiohead, Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Blur, Oasis, and a little of other Britpop acts such as Pulp and Elastica :)

Oldies are great. Especially old country. Get some King George playing, or Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson...
