🌸 A little reminder for today 🌸

You don’t have to have everything figured out right now. It’s okay to take things one day at a time, to rest when you need to, and to be proud of even the smallest steps you’re taking. 🫶🏻

Whatever you’re going through, please remember that your feelings are valid, and difficult days don’t last forever. There is still so much good waiting for you. 🌷

Be gentle with yourself today. You’re doing better than you think. ❤️✨

be gentle with myself today?  why?  i'm nothing but a failure.  my granny died in october of last year and i've not dealt with grief at all.  i keep it bottled up inside because i really don't have anyone i feel comfortable with talking to.

i was also given an AIDS diagnosis a few weeks ago.

i have been smoking meth for the last three years.  but as of today, I am two weeks clean!  i'm tired of that *** and getting off of it before it kills me.  i am 54 years old.  my mother died when she was 55 years old.

i've wasted my life.  i went to prison when i was 20 years old.  between jail and prisons, i've been locked up most of my young adult life.  i tell people that i grew up in prison.  and it's true, i did.

so what do i have to look forward to?  i have a 14 year old chihuahua who i will lose eventually.  this little guy is my life.  i love him more than i love most humans.  His name is Tank and i've had him for 12 years now.  he will be the first dog i've owned that i know i will eventually lose.  he's a cranky old *** just like his daddy (me).
