Exhausted
So, the past few days, I'm still feeling sleepy and tired after getting in some regular hours of sleep (around 6hrs), but because I'm waking up before 7am (automatically), it still makes me feel like my sleep was disturbed. I have lots planned to do today, hope with the amount of exercise, I will be able to sleep better tonight.
First thing I'm going to do, is wash my car. I think because I haven't washed it much after the latest snowfall, the salts have made the metal plate behind my tires rusty. And the top of the car, windshield, and back windows are dusty. So, might as well wash the entire car, and scrub off the rust. Secondly, because my brother just left for the office (he usually works from home, and I thought he would've left the office earlier this morning, but ended up telling me he has to have a meeting first before leaving for the office), I can use this time to mop the floors and vacuum the house. I can only do this when he's not at home, because when he does work at home, he's constantly in meetings, and vacuuming can be very noisy. Lastly, he wants me to clean our bathroom. Specifically, wipe down the walls, as he wants to repaint it over the weekend.
So, hopefully, with this amount of exercise (chores) around the house, I'll be exhausted enough for a good night's sleep/rest. Before I go wash my car, I have to figure out how to change the head of the hose, looks like my dad had changed it to the shower type where water sprays, rather than the regular one we use to wash the car with where the water shoots a stream out. Otherwise, I might have to work with the spray and hope it can still rinse the car well. I should've asked him to change it before my parents left for their trip!
I'd better start all this before noon~
@Jaeteuk It sounds like you have a busy and productive day planned with various chores around the house that you hope will help you sleep better tonight. I can understand feeling tired even after regular sleep hours if waking up early and want to make the most of your time while your brother is out of the house. Getting regular exercise and being active can help with sleep, so completing your list of chores like washing your car, mopping floors, vacuuming, and cleaning the bathroom should help you feel tired for a good rest tonight.
Thank you for your response, @ASilentObserver
So, it turns out after all the chores that day, my sleep had no improvement. On the contrary, I had trouble falling asleep. Sleep hadn't been very consistent the past couple of weeks. Even when I felt I've slept enough, I still feel tired and sleepy during the day, but when I'm feeling tired, I still wasn't able to sleep. I'm at a lost. Maybe my biological clock doesn't require as much sleep as I'm thinking I need?
@Jaeteuk I understand how frustrating inconsistent sleep patterns and fatigue can be. It sounds like you've been struggling with sleep for a while now and are unsure of the cause or solution. Maybe exploring or trying relaxation techniques at night be helpful? I know it is a lot for you and I believe in you that you going to work through this.
