I feel empty
I recently got out of the military, no i didnt deploy or anything of that nature. I started a new job and have an apartment with a roommate. But very often I just feel empty. Like I don't talk about much, I put a fake smile on my face so people leave me alone because I don't want my negativity to bring anyone else down. I wake up go to work, come home, stare at a wall for 2 or 3 hours and then go to bed and repeat. I don't wanna go to work and inside my head I'm just say F it, they can fire me, I don't care.

First of all friend, thank you so much for your service. Anyone who serves their country deserves a lot of respect in my eyes because it is such a selfless position to put one's self in. It makes me sad that too many people don't realize that sacrifice you have made. But just know that I do.
I am so sorry to hear you feel empty. It sounds like a new struggle you have discovered in a new way returning back to civilian life. It's a very common issue many veterans have experienced, so please don't feel alone in this. This is so common that a lot of non-veterans feel like they go through the motions similarly to you.
But I do realize the best support you can receive are the ones that focus on veteran support. There are a ton out there, and I'm really curious if you have reached out to any about this. Especially locally in your area. Have you contacted other fellow veterans and discussed these issues with them before? Even just a fellow veteran friend of yours probably relate a lot with what you are going through.
Either way, just know that I'm willing to listen to you more if you want.
